In this Joy-filled presentation, participants will explore how technology can be a catalyst for accelerating the 5 Competencies of Social Emotional Learning! According to The Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning (CASEL’s) Framework for Systemic Social and Emotional Learning, there are 5 components to successful education of both hearts and minds; (1) Self-awareness, (2) self-management, (3) responsible decision making, (4) relationship skills and (5) social awareness. In this interactive session for educators, participants will explore how tools such as Google Classroom, sites, forms, sheets, slides, Padlet, Twitter, and digital breakouts can enhance the social-emotional climate of all classrooms.
