For schools to truly be successful, they must first create a school culture that values the naturally inquisitive nature of their students.  Schools need a framework and curriculum that allows students to explore what is relevant to them, all the while mastering the skills needed to thrive in academic environments and beyond.  In an Inquiry School, no student ever asks, "why do we need to learn this?" because they set their own path towards acquiring knowledge.  In this session, we will review the principles of inquiry-based learning and discuss strategies and actions to bring it to live in your classroom.  We will start with the most essential question, "why does our learning matter?"
